Jane Galluzzi, Founder & CEO
Jane Galluzzi is a highly compassionate and kind human originating from the shores of Honolulu, Hawaiʻi. Her professional experience touches on a multitude of industries including film, cryptocurrency, advertising, technology, music, beauty, and philanthropy. She has been a volunteer since before she could walk and prides herself on leaving people and places better than she finds them, promoting a strong sense of civic duty in her communities.
Her current work aims to transmit civic duty through how marketing and advertising campaigns are created. As the CEO and Founder of Gartley Studios, Jane Galluzzi is applying this philosophy to everything she makes, including her creation of the first-ever hula ballet piece. Her vision for this project will also establish a new landmark style in advertising by partnering non-competing businesses into one campaign, thereby decreasing ad spends and expenses while increasing audience share. Focusing on brands with a "mom-and-pop" appeal, she aims to increase their survival rates against big-box competitors with higher marketing spends. This style of ‘civic duty marketing’ weaves creative collaboration into the core values of our communities, making it an element addressed in every stage of business.
Looking back on her career, Jane Galluzzi prides herself on being someone who makes the seemingly impossible, possible.
After graduating college, Jane Galluzzi’s first full-time professional role was serving as the right hand to advertising powerhouse Renee Fraser, PhD, daughter of one of the original ‘Mad Men’ advertisers. Jane held the titles of Executive Assistant, Office Manager, Radio Show Producer, and Corporate Board Assistant. Together, they ran Fraser Communications in Los Angeles, California—one of the largest female-owned businesses in the city—where Dr. Fraser focused on campaigns that made a difference. The agency’s genesis began when Renee left her position running the Pacific division of a world-renowned advertising agency. Her dying father had teased her, reminding her that as a child, she always wanted him to create campaigns that helped the world rather than just selling products. Thus, advertising with a conscience was born. For five years, working alongside Dr. Fraser, Jane produced projects with celebrities such as Gloria Allred, Mario Lopez, Apl.de.ap (Black Eyed Peas), Douglas Christie (Head Coach, Sacramento Kings), Elise Buik (CEO, United Way), Rene Jones (Founding Director, UTA) and major brands like First 5 California (focused on child education ages 0–5). Recognizing Jane’s huge potential, Dr. Fraser had her assist each team for three months, supporting departments like traditional, digital, and social creation, media buying, and account directing. In her final role, Jane served as an Account Executive for clients including Lexus, USC, LA County Department of Public Health, and First 5 California.
Leaving Fraser Communications, Jane launched her first major entrepreneurial endeavor: an agency that discovered and branded young talents, successfully launching them into the music industry with major label contracts. This included artists like AJ Mitchell, Eddie Benjamin, Pretty Much (a Sony boy group), and Life of Dillon (a duo group). Her company also branded the first social media incubator and influencer house, Jake Paul’s ‘Team 10,’ consisting of stars like Tessa Brooks, Alissa Violet, Erika Costell, Alex Lange, the Martinez Twins, the Dobre Twins, and Tristan Tales. After just one year, her team successfully branded, launched, and sold the startup to Mob Scene for millions in 2017.
Jane Galluzzi’s pivotal marketing events and her dedicated support for celebrity branding and character building were crucial to this historic moment. She breathed life into these young artists who were often plucked from home and missing traditional youth life, helping make their dreams a reality. Notably, AJ Mitchell became one of the few artists to be signed by a large label (Sony) to a three-record deal without a management company. To this day, they joke about the time they finished a meeting in Beverly Hills and stopped to climb a tree to carve their names like little kids. Moments like these demonstrate Galluzzi’s knack for understanding the delicate balance between hard work and the emotional support necessary to maintain a creative’s mental peace and work ethic.
Following the sale of the agency to Mob Scene, Galluzzi set her sights on other industries.
She next ventured into the beauty industry, working with the vegan brand DERMA E as their Talent Event Coordinator. This included managing events such as Ipsy Takeovers at Lollapalooza, Miami Swim Week, and the coveted ULTA Conference where beauty superstars launch their brands. She also supported a group of social media influencers, the ‘DERMA E Beauty Influencers,’ coordinating events and vacations in San Francisco, New York, and LA. Their biggest talent on the team, beauty influencer Camelia Katoozian, remains good friends with Galluzzi to this day. Galluzzi’s continued connection to talent highlights her hands-on approach—she customizes experiences and knows how to support creatives so they feel comfortable long after their work is complete.
During her time at DERMA E, she began delving into the cryptocurrency scene with her partner. Having personally bought Bitcoin since 2013, she was well-versed in the industry. Galluzzi garnered business meetings, sales, and curated strategy for her partner, leading to pivotal moments such as launching Bitcoin ATMs, a Cryptocurrency Hedge Fund, and an NFT project. Due to her unofficial role, specific company names are omitted, but during this time, Galluzzi participated in the multi-million dollar ups and downs of the market. This included supporting a budding hedge fund, at times raising the largest portfolio contributions of half a million dollars collectively, and selling the most NFTs at Art Basel in Miami. With a decade of experience alongside a cryptocurrency trader, she is no stranger to the industry, always knowing how to hedge a bet and provide a positive support system to help others' dreams come true.
While working in these fields, she also studied at the Hypnosis Motivation Institute (HMI), the top accredited school for hypnotherapy, at the recommendation of her colleague. There, she garnered thousands of hours supporting clients and successfully helping with issues such as infertility, sobriety, and confidence. Her dedication to client growth through storytelling gained recognition from the school, leading her to graduate at the top of her class with all three awards: Clinical Achievement, Academic Achievement, and the Director’s Award. Today, she uses the skills she earned as a certified hypnotherapist and applies them to film and marketing, which she finds especially helpful for reaching a broader audience.
After graduation, while running her hypnotherapy practice, she spent the next three years immersed in the film industry. Again, she went for the seemingly impossible: she raised financing and worked with a team to announce ‘The Age of Hawaiian Cinema’ to the world at the American Film Market (AFM). Her marketing campaigns featured prominently on the cover of the event and buyer guides for over 10,000 industry buyers and executives, while her digital banners welcomed all guests into the market. Even while pushing her five-month-old child into rapid-fire pitch meetings, she caught the attention of buyers—some literally chased her down hallways with donuts in hand. Her exciting projects, coupled with her captivating pitch, resulted in the biggest sale at the market: two finished feature films and a documentary in production were sold into distribution. This powerful success sent a clear statement to independent filmmakers: anything is possible with the right team.
Today, Galluzzi is launching her millennial run feature film studio and production house with big dreams. Gartley Studios is currently in production on its first project, the Ms. Malia & Friends Franchise.
Jane Galluzzi looks forward to her next phase, promoting civic duty through every endeavor alongside the studio’s core values of integrity and a commitment to transmitting a better world wherever they go.
